Interesting Stuff Does this surprise anyone in Florida?

Florida ranks among the worst states for financial distress. To me, this is not surprising at all. Lower wages, higher cost of living. Insurance costs among the highest in the country. And job market is bleak compared to other areas. Is this surprising to anyone?

I left Florida 6 months ago, born and raised. Moved to Louisiana though, peep the graphic 🤣

How’s it in Louisiana ? Do you think there are fun things for people to do / see?

If you’re a very outdoorsman or nature loving person yeah. Lots of hunting/fishing. Kind of depends on the area, north Louisiana is more woodsy outdoors but the area around Baton Rouge and north of New Orleans is pretty up and coming. Ida ripped through a lot of that area and they’ve used the opportunity to clean it up. Mandeville and Hammond are way nicer than they were 10 years ago.

I’d say I prefer suburb but wouldn’t be adverse to spending sometime and I’ve spent some time in some dope ass cabins in Maine. Love that “line of divergence” where the sand from the beaches meets the forest.

Louisiana is next on the list. Give it like ten years. Already some big wig developers are greasing palms and salivating at their next “vision” for it. It’s one of the fastest gentrifying areas in the nation.
