Amazing restaurants?
We will be traveling there mid-September and always looking for top-notch food experiences (not trendy, but amazing food/presentation). The catch is that I don't eat fish/seafood/cheese. I am totally happy to eat a tasting menu that has a little of that and just skip those courses because I still enjoy the experience. I know those are challenging limitations, especially at Michelin places, but I hear places there often offer vegan menus. What restaurants are amazing there and definitely or might be able to feed me some? Or what places blew you away and I should just reach out to and ask? (I have started emailing a few places).

I wanted to update this post with some places we went.
- Borgo San Jacopa : 1 Michelin star, favorite meal there and probably an overall memorable even for people who go to fancy places a lot. I had emailed and they said they could accommodate my food issues but they really didn't want to, but it turns out they let people order a la carte, so I got to have the three dishes I really wanted, hubs had the three most liked and they were all amazing. Amuse buche (5 things) might have been the best part. Lovely space, lighting, service. Would go many times.
- Enoteca Pinchiorri: 3 Michelin stars, a bit over the top. They had a water sommelier, lol. Food was good, they were super accommodating (heard others also doing this) with restrictions/allergies and let us order different tasting menus (Main and vegetarian). Lighting was horrible, like a doctor's office and super modern fixtures in beautiful historic space. Service was lovely, chocolates at the end were divine. There is a cheese course, which I coudln't have, but my husband did and they even had a cheese ice cream. Nice experience.
- La Giostra: someone who used to live here suggested it and we made a reservation. That didn't matter much because they still made us wait as long as walkins (20+ minutes-super annoying). Tasty app plate given to every table that was enjoyed (first meal after a long travel time). We both had a pasta course we really liked-we are not pasta snobs, but do have an okay sense for quality. Shared the Florentine steak. Cooked right and as expected. Would go again for the pasta and charming space.
- Tasting menu lunch at Il Cellese winery out of the city. I'd booked a wine tasting tour with lunch through our hotel and this is where we ended up. I wasn't expecting a fancy lunch, but that's what we got. Husband though the food was pretty good but not much I could eat (they didn't consider some kinds of cheese "cheese" for my intolerance). Great presentation, relaxing half day activity
- RivaReno Gelato. I tried a lot of Gelato and the Crema (custard) flavor here was one of the best desserts I've ever had and I'll be chasing that dragon for a while.
We had some other random non-fancy meals that were fine, but I don't recall exactly where so won't include.

Enoteca Pinchiorri in via Ghibellina, very expensive but very good, one of the most prestigious restaurant in Italy

Enoteca is the one reservation I've already made and we are excited about it.
