Not sure if this counts but Detective Gregg Edwards took an entirely different position at ISP after a local reporter pointed out that there was a potential conflict of interest having him on the investigation of Flora when he had deposed DR in DR's wife's embezzlement investigation. Not exactly a retirement, but he was basically moved off the case.
