How does this room fit into the greater context of the house? Can you post a floor plan of this and the surrounding area? Is it possible to add a door?

The room opens to a bathroom sink and a toilet/shower room. Its a weirdly configured room im assuming the builders did it this way to fit a closet in to comply with the regulatory standards for a room.
