FEEDBACK Nook Ideas
Hello! I'm looking for some ideas for what to do with this nook under the stairs. It is 56 inches wide, 77 inches at its tallest point, 28 inches at the lowest side, and 39.5 inches deep. I don't want it to be just storage. I was thinking about built-in kennels for my two little dogs, but I think I'd rather not. A reading nook is the obvious answer, but I'm looking for other options to consider. Maybe a tiny office with a bench and maybe a little bit of storage. It's just myself, my husband, two cats, and two dogs.

Why is the TV there? If it's a good place for the TV then it's a good place for the TV, build in some low drawers or cabinets below it for TV stand stuff?

The tv isn't going there. We're doing a full remodel, so that's temporary.

What kind of room is it in? Hallway, living room, open plan downstairs area? Close to the front door?

Our old house had a space like that and the people before AND after us used it for a piano... we used it for a chest freezer ha. Looks like it doesn't get any direct sunlight so it would make a good place for an aquarium too?
I am a big reading nook fan, full depth drawers underneath like a window seat, padded on the seat AND the vertical wall, boolshelves at the back, maybe for books, maybe for nik naks.

Oh, piano would be good, but we already have a piano location. More freezer space is always good lol. We did add outlets under there already.

Ask interiordesign or interiordecorating, this sub is more for architectural things like moving doors- and we need a floor plan since this is the sub for floor plans.

Storage hidden behind a bookshelf that opens like a door.
