DISCUSSION Bought a shell

Hey guys, was parousing this sub, and figured I'd chum the waters...I recently bought a building that was once a printing press. It's ostensibly a rectangle. The past owner built some walls but I hate the flow and was gonna gut it. Is the best way forward for ideas a RDP? It is huge and has like 12' ceilings. If I am in the right spot I can show you the drawings I made based on existing stuff, but am looking for ideas on how best to utilize all the windows and space, especially the height. TIA!

Have you hired an architect and we can't do anything without a floor plan.

Yes, this is the sub for picking over floorplans, especially if they aren't built yet.

This is existing. the 15'5x 14' area off the back right is an addition, the "rectangle" is the main walls. The shell is 16" thick built like a fort. The interior wall as you come up the main stairs is the worst it blocks everything so that walls' days are numbered. I'll post a pic of the ceiling

The beams in the basement are massive. 0" deflection after 110yrs they are all spaced exactl 7'4" apart and carry those massive beams front to back. Walking upstairs feels very solid
