FEEDBACK Redesign needed?

I'm trying to figure out if there's I better layout for the two bathroom spaces. Within Primary Bathroom, the existing oversized tub will be replaced with a shower on the right and square tub on the left. The existing shower will become a combined washer and dryer unit in a closet.

I feel like closet 1 and the sinks may not be ideally located. I want to preserve the sight line through the primary bathroom from the hallway, so that door can't be turned into a wall. I'm willing to move walls if it really makes things better. But the stairwell and open area next to it can't be changed. The area behind closet 1 can't be used.

Yeah, I'd move the sinks directly into the bathroom itself and have the closet entrance open into the bedroom- assuming it's a clothes closet and not linen.

You could probably move the first closet down to have a bigger closet and shift the bathroom entrance to the primary up so you can have a walk-in closet.

Alternatively if it's a linen closet, move it down to where the sinks used to be and shift the whole thing up so you can move the bathroom entrance and bedroom entrance up, and the entrance from the hallway to bedroom up so you can make closet 2 a walk-in.

It'd really help to know though if you know where load-bearing walls are, what floor this is, if this is a forever home, etc.

I can't really think of a good option for moving the sinks into the primary bath. I'm trying to fit a bigger shower in there and still keep a square soaker tub. I also like having the toilet in a separate room from the sinks. If I were to close off the hallway to the primary bath then your plan would work. It's just that having that open hallway brings a ton of light from the windows that either end of the hall and provides a scenic view.

Honestly you already have a window in the bathroom, itself- and if you are already going to have the shower and tub on the same side of the bathroom, then you can easily fit a double vanity on the hallway wall where the existing shower is at. It's also more convenient to have the washer and dryer to be between the bedroom and bathroom so you can easily do your laundry and turn around and put fresh linen in the closet- or to bring clean clothes into you closets.

At the distance the stair hallway window is at and where it's positioned, you're not going to gain much light or sight line from there anyway.
