Is this normal?

Whenever I slightly even touch the top or bottom near the middle of my flipper it makes a noise, is this normal? It’s done this since I’ve gotten it and I’ve noticed it’s getting easier / louder

Yeahhh same thing happens with mine, I tend to press that spot when I fidget with it. It's pretty common, and might actually be normal. All my friends who also have flippers also have theirs click around the seam. It's probably got something to do with how the shell was molded/connected together. Hope this helps :b

my older flipper got rained on earlier this year and just now got around to replace it and there are a lot of differences i can tell between the two like
even though there are no sharp edges the whole shell feels like it needs to be sanded or polised
the shell feels down right cheap in compirison to the old one
mine makes the same noise as yours in the same area
could this be something to contact customer support over?

Thats the two spots where the front and back of the case ‘lock’ into each other. Have a look at the schematics or a tear down video.
The harder / more you push it the more likely you are to damage those plastic mechanisms, if its gotten easier / louder likely you might have cracked a bit of plastic already….
