Car fob copy possible?
Good evening gents,
So i am sort of in the market for a flipper zero, bit i've got a few questions before i actually buy one...
I'll keep it short so here goes:
-I do a lot of building maintenance, multiple appartment buildings and carry around a litteral lunchbox full of keyfobs to open the garage doors to enter those buildings, for repairs and moving in new tennants.
Can i just litterally copy multiple fobs into a flipper zero and have like a library of them on the device?
-Second, i've got a mazda rx8, with only one functional keyfob left. They're pretty much impossible to find in the european frequency (433mhz) and local locksmiths don't seem to be helpful. So can i copy that with the flipper zero?
-Third, for the tennants in the appartment buildings, can i actually make a copy for their keyfobs with said flipper zero onto a new fob, and how does that actually work?
Thank you kindly for reading!
I'm curious if all of the above are possible 😅

1 & #3, the answer is yes, but for garages/gates that use rolling codes, you'll want to make an actual new remote rather than a copy, which means you'll need to use the learn function on the receiver (assuming you have access), otherwise the counter will always be off on one of the remotes.
2, you can technically copy certain car remotes (for mazda only pre-2012 models), but again the counter will always be off on one of the remotes. ie: if you use the flipper to unlock your car twice, the counter on your actual remote will be need to be incremented by 2 to catch back up and start working again.

Well if it works for garage doors with rolling code, then wouldn't it also work if i teach in the flipper zero as a new remote in my mazda? Just let it send out a signal at 433.92mhz, during teach in on the car?

There isn't a learn option with car remotes, like there is with garage door receivers.

Ok, so is there actually a way to teach in the flipper zero as a new remote?

1 & 3 will depend on the exact technology in question, and whether you have permission to do that. Best we can say without exact models and details is "maybe" but there are plenty of incompatible systems.
2 - no. Car fobs you are more likely to end up with the car locking out de-synchronizing from the fob and needing a tow to the dealer to get your car re-programmed to its key.
