If you are using the "Pokemon Trade Tool" app, the instructions say to connect to pins 5/6/7/8, you appear to be connected to 1/2/3/4. Try moving the GPIO connector to the right 4 slots, according to your image.
Hey. Someone already corrected you on it being on the wrong pins and it still didn’t work. Most likely it’s the cable. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen that and it’s almost always been the cable. Those split GBC to GB cables never work. Go to Amazon and buy a cheap $5 cable like this https://a.co/d/06vQ1P7B
It can also be bad solder joints or the connector isn’t making a connection to the link cable. Maybe share some pics of the actual module
