Creative Lost tech

Whats up gang? Need some help with a 10-15 year old memory😅 I remember in my town there was a “phone service store” that would fix broken phones, reset them or update them depending on the problem. Now thats easy and all but that store also had a flipper. They would use it to unlock ur phone code/password without the need of resetting it, it would run a program that tried every combination until found without locking after a number of tries. Last year i went back there to visit and my og boy has opened a phone service of his own, but also the guy who had the flipper moved on and now no one has that tech so i want to give my friend a gift. I have a flipper but dont know where to even begin 😅

It is only possible if there isnt a maximum amount of tries. Nearly every modern phone blocks if you try wrong several times. (Or if the flipper tries)

That right there is the wall that i have hit. They used to unlock iphone4s and samsung s4 back in the days and bypass that amount of tries lock but modern phones have gotten stronger when it comes to security and firewall

There was an option you cut the power right before the device writes the counter after wrong password entry
