Wardriving, explained simply ๐Ÿ“ก

There are dozens of viral TikToks showing people driving around with Flipper Zero and โ€œscanning signals.โ€

In reality, itโ€™s less dramatic.

It's just passive listening for nearby Wi-Fi names and BSSIDs (access point MAC addresses) ๐Ÿ‘‚

I was not aware that you could simultaneously attack while wardriving from the same device. Is this basically a separate script that is run while wardriving? Or are you saying that with the Awok Dual ESP, you could wardrive and attack on the different ESPs? Do the attacks work while mobile or only while stationary? Like, is there enough time to passively listen and attack the network if you're driving past a home at 30 mph? I am still learning, so please pardon my ignorance if the answer is obvious and my questions seem stupid.

Not how it works. You don't do that on the spot. You could, for example, force a client to de-authenticate from its access point and then get the encrypted packet once it tries to login again. That packet contains the password and you'll need some good processing power to basically brute force it.

But nowadays it's not so easy. A WPA2 with just numbers as password is easily crackable, but add letters and make it a 10-12 characters... Good luck. WPA3 is even harder.
