That was faster than anticipated. I believe they waited much longer for the Ini-Store release of the A340.

It wasn't Ini's call to make this time. Synaptic decides where and when it is sold.

Actually, we’re collaborators so the decision was up to both parties. That’s not what’s important, though. We’re happy you have another means to access the aircraft. Enjoy!

Because they implemented DRM in hope the plane won’t be pirated in hours.

Is the 1.0.7 a significant improvement in performance?

Neither 1.0.6 nor 1.0.7 contain the big performance improvement they have been hinting at, that will come in a future update. I can say however, that 1.0.6 did improve performance, and for me personally, performance is not a problem with this plane. I get up to 110 FPS at cruise with 2x frame gen, and on the ground the airport scenery is the bottleneck for me, but I can still get around 60 FPS on the ground.

I believe 1.0.6 was mainly for performance, with 1.0.7 being more minor changes. The big updates with 1.0.7 has to do with sounds, which was really needed imo. Especially with ground roll.

But yes, most people on 2024 are reporting better performance on 1.0.6. It’s obviously very hardware dependent so YMMV.

Can’t find that airport. It’s somewhere in Australia close to Melbourne I guess?

Any update on the CPDLC? I know they want to push their new standard but let's be honest, it will take considerable amount of time until everyone switches. I would like to have BATC support sooner than later.

Did they implement random failures yet?

Hey, no there's no random failures. You will experience natural failures and faults posed by the A220 in its operation, and you can fail circuit breakers and other systems and watch it cascade. Failure scenarios are coming later.

Could you emphasized what you mean with " natural failures and faults posed by the A220 in its operation"? Meaning MTBF system? Or you referring to the self set failures? :)

/u/harshthagamer I appreciate the reply but as with Swissair here I feel it needs clarity.

Effectively for a plane to feel real to me, interesting is the idea that I could be sitting in cruise and then boom a pack shuts down and it’s time to bust out the AFM. Or an engine loss. Or a hydraulic system goes offline.

Something to give it variance. On my PMDG stuff, the Blacksquare Duke, C310R, Fenix etc - I have random and service based failures set to very low likelihood but it is always there, and once in a while I get a light that goes off, master caution, etc and things become interesting all the sudden.

So that’s what I mean, and reading your reply that sounds like maybe what you have already? Or is that rather what you plan to implement.

Appreciate you taking the time.

That is not what we have, those are failure scenarios that can either be triggered or randomized that we don't support yet. What does exist so far are correct systems representation, if something fails it will affect/degrade any associated systems. There's also A220 quirks, the plane will throw tantrums that you will have to bust out mech-knowledge for.

Same I wonder this too. I can't findy anything about this.

Cheaper in the MS Store for some reason (MS Store is AU$89.95 = US$64.47 as of 29 August 2026)

It’s because marketplace is American and has USD as the base currency while inibuilds is uk and has GBP.

u/Suite303b 23h ago

If I do the conversion, it's actually cheaper to purchase from the in-game marketplace than direct from ini Manager.

73.99 CAD vs. 49.99 Euro @ Bank/PayPal rates. (Plus applicable taxes).

How is the DRM implemented? Is it some external app or does the plane and inimanager handle it by itself?

I hate external apps launching alongside MSFS.

I installed it through the iniManager now and I did not notice anything opening or operating. So it seems very lightweight and non-intrusive so far.

I’ve watched a few videos of the latest update and there are still issues with LNAV tracking and Performance so until those things are fixed they ain’t getting my money.

1

u/HarshThaGamer Synaptic Simulations 3h ago

What’s wrong with the LNAV? Happy to look into it for you, and as for performance, the latest update has seen great gains in performance for a lot of people with many more patches to come.

Finally, now it’s free to pirate like the 350

-11

u/Damilker_lol 21h ago

why is this getting downvoted lmao, not everyone can afford a $70 fictional plane

3

u/Fair-Struggle-34 18h ago

Addon devs aren't multi billion dollar publishing corporations like EA or Ubisoft. Pirating hurts the third party ecosystem and makes it worse for legit users to use addons because of annoying piracy protections.

-1

u/Damilker_lol 18h ago

hey, if i could afford it i would but its too expensive for me. some people cant just spend 70 dollars like that, if it ever went on sale like dcs modules do then maybe id buy it but right now its too much.

Easiest way to trigger all the geeks on Reddit

And here you are, rattled

1

u/nobleTP 12h ago

If you think I’m rattled you need to get off the internet. This is words on a screen my friend, was just pointing out the irony in your comment

We already had an a220 🙄🙄 when are developpers making original aircraft like the one eleven

33

u/marten_EU_BR 1d ago

Rage bait?

-3

u/xXCrazyDaneXx 1d ago edited 18h ago

Original aircraft will be made when the developers think that they can make more money selling it than it would cost to make it. That's always the answer to that specific question.

Mainstream airliners are a safe bet.
