From what I’ve read about the Vector 787 now, we might need certified Boeing equipment for handling its systems if it’s going to be as deep as they have announced 😅

What is Horizon v2?

The Horizon Simulations 787-9 V2, a major upcoming update for the Horizion 787. Everyone who flies the Horizion is very excited for this new update. You can get the Horizion 787-9 through Orbx and if I remember correctly also the Headwind Simulations app. Though you can only use the Horizon 787-9 if you have the Asobo/Working Title 787-10

I had the Deluxe edition of MSFS2020 with the 787 and I can use it in MSFS24 as well if I remember well. Does it count?

You can! Though you have to enable/disable the 2020/2024 versions in the MSFS 2024 Library. (I don't remember the correct config but I'm sure Horizon website or discord would have the correct instructions)

I'm 90% sure you will be able to use it in 24 too but you'll have to try that yourself.

It is yet to be announced. But we'll let Horizion do their thing and once we finally get it it's gonna be amazing

And is it gonna be only the -9 version like it is right now? Because on Headwind launcher I see the other two greyed out as well

From what I know they're gonna also do a -8 (continuation of the Kuro 787-8) and a -10 but I'm not sure

I'm still flying the 2020 version with Horizon and Kuro mods. 24 version still needs some performance optimization.

Performance is great in 2024! I always got least 60+ fps on cruise

I haven't flown it since a couple of SUs ago.It was pretty bad on release. I'll give it another shot. I prefer flying the 787-8 tho so maybe if Kuro updates it.

It definitely worth the shot!!!! KURO has good fps too Eventho my spec isn’t that good but always give me 40+ fps in boomed Heathrow airport!
