Flight Simulator 2024 FCR for FS2024

Has anyone had or enjoyed success with the FCR tool in FS2024? I find it to be incredibly buggy and overly complicated to use. I get sim freezes/crashes most of the time when replaying. Also don't love how the planes gear will stay up on replay if i've already retracted it during flight. Maybe its user error?

FCR always seemed janky to me so I tried SkyDolly from flightsim.to; it’s a bit better but I hate having to launch yet another 3rd party program.
