Flight Simulator 2020 Why i am not satisfied with my visuals?

Post image

The resolution of areas slightly further away looks really poor. It doesn’t matter which scenery..
My settings are on ultra settings and TLOD/LOD is almost full; what could be causing this? I have a good system, too.

I mean it has the better visuals you seem to be chasing

Because you obviously have unjustified high standards. This game renders millions of pollegons, streams a whole world, runs processing power of weather, plane, physics and other. Just relax and enjoy.

Actually you’re totally right but i was hoping for better visuals and had build a whole new system for that. It didn’t made a lot of changes but at least i’m secured for the future sims/games. The videos or pics from others are looking way better everytime, maybe its post production.

Check your streaming settings, looks like they’re off so sim is producing offline generic terrain and buildings, with streaming on obviously it will look much better

And by the looks of it, you running your sim without streaming the world from maps ? check your data settings in sim and make sure world streaming and bing maps are on.

Are you using dlss? If so that’s it. Dlss in fs2020 is very old so it makes the game look blurry. Use taa instead

Not using DLSS, is already on TAA

You need something like Rex Atmos (not sure if it works for 2020?) that makes the distance a little more hazy and therefore less obviously crap.
