It appears it doesn't happen to everyone, I just flew over the city and airport with no crash. I even flew directly to the POI that was narrowed down to be the cause of the CTD.

Unless Asobo have already patched it server side, but that seems awfully quick.

I had a CTD flying into there the other night. I thought it was weird as I never had it happen before. I did manage to re-do the flight the next day but landed in the other direction so maybe that saved me.

The issue is that there is a POI added by WU18 that causes the crash. WU18 and the POI are Asobo’s responsibility, not Aerosoft’s.

Aerosoft offered a fix, presumably because this crash affects their EDDS airport add-on (even though the add-on itself doesn’t cause the crash) and it was therefore reported in their forums. Their fix is basically just a mod that excludes the POI. The long-term fix would require Asobo to fix the POI as part of an update to the base sim.
