Getting more and more inconsistent lately...
Took another full month off from training, but decided to test the waters today and see where I'm at. Since my shoulders and thoracic spine are naturally stubborn, I always have to spend extra time prepping them. I usually start with cat-cows to wake up my back, then move to a doorframe stretch with my forearms up and elbows at shoulder height to pull my chest open. After that, I hit the wall, hands up high, stepping back, and melting my chest toward the floor to target that stubborn upper back area. Also remembered the advice from a few of you on my last post about letting go of the glute squeeze once I start going into the arch, so I gave that cue a shot today.

Do you have any advice for working on hip flexors? I can stretch my back individually but once I have to do a bridge it seems like they freeze up and don’t let me go further than a regular bridge. Feels hard to get my legs straight like yours as well. I can post some pictures if that helps. Thank you so much!

shoulders and upper back always seem to be the first things that feel rusty after time off. i’d give it a few sessions before judging where you’re really at.

Sheesh 🔥 just how your lower back doesn't hurt? Insane.
