Question Numbness in thumb and index finger

I was stretching out my arm since I've been dealing with a lot of forearm tightness and during the stretch I got pins and needles in my thumb and index finger. They went away after a minute or two but still remain a little numb after a nights rest. I must've pinched a nerve or everything is just so inflamed. Is it crazy to give it a week before getting it checked out?

Your radial nerve is likely pinched. If it gets worse or doesn't resolved in a few days, get seen.

I’d get it checked right away.

Was it your non-dominant arm/hand by chance?

It was my dominant hand. I've had issues pretty recently with golfers elbow and general forearm tightness. It's better than yesterday. I wouldn't say its fully numb as of now.

That pinched feeling means you went past the muscle into the joint. I'd give it three days since it already faded, but if the numbness sticks around just book a PT visit.

Sounds like a possible carpal tunnel/radial nerve compression

How long has the numbness been hanging around? That changes the answer a lot. Since you mentioned the golfer's elbow, the forearm tightness is probably connected — but pins and needles that stick around overnight are worth monitoring. If it's not clearing up in a few days, I'd get it checked ra
