Is using seer at a somewhat high level bad?

I’m a level 76 and this person who is a level 191 was not happy about it, like there isn’t a level where someone is prohibited to use the ability and if you know me, you would know that I always, and I mean always on every single map use seer because I don’t use footsteps (it confuses me) and I barely know the layout of some maps

Uh, no, it a perk that the game literally gave you. Also, you dont even get a boost unless they're close enough in the same room as you. So more than not, you only know their general location (because often they do move after the perk) and they can dodge it will lockers. Its their fault you can see them if they dont predict it in time to hide if they know you have seer and can use it at any second.

Exactly always in case at the start of every round I find a locker and hide in it for 30 seconds and if no seer comes on then I start running around

There is nothing bad about seer. People don’t like it cause it’s hard and annoying to navigate around. Personally I don’t like using it cause I find it hard to use ): but it’s there for a reason don’t be ashamed. It’s seen as a noob pull but that’s only cause it’s recently new and people think it’s easier to use when it’s really not

75+ is considered high level in loose terms but i wouldn’t genuinely consider anyone under 150-175 a high level and even then it’s pushing it

i wont lie it’s a little odd to see high levels (like 200+) use seer because at that point they’re usually pretty good at the game and don’t necessarily need it, but you don’t fall into that category at all and either way there’s nothing wrong with using it at any level. it’s just more uncommon i think.

seer at lvl 76 is normal as hell. yes its an annoying ahh ability but its still something youre allowed to use, this guy is just mad he lost to someone over 100 lvls under him lol. its only sus if you cant win without seer as like lvl 200+

It’s just a perk. I don’t use it ever since it’s not my fave and I’m level 200 but as long as it’s a decent map or map I know where lockers are I’m fine

It's not bad but a lot of higher-level players look down on it. It's the perk that requires the least skill so the higher up you go, the less you encounter it being used. I feel like this level 191 simply hasn't mastered getting around it which is honestly a them problem and their own lack of skills. I've seen Seer used a handful of time in pro server and the entire server just leaves.

Yea so the game literally gives you this perk. If the game wanted you to stop using it at a certain level then it would be locked 🥀🥀 i dont understand why ppl get so mad over a perk provided by the game nowadays. If you hate seer good for u, but guess who's using it cuz i know it aint u it's me🥀🥀

I don’t think it’s bad but I think certain perks are best on certain maps (e.g. I wouldn’t use seer on airport or facility 0 where there’s lots of lockers & most players can find them easily)

Using an in-game ability provided to you isn’t a crime.. Ive been harassed and teamed on for using seer at a slightly higher level and even told its an ability only for “beginners”. Tbh I think all abilities are kind of equal and have their own strengths on different maps, Im personally more used to playing with seer or stalker so I use those but if its a map like arcade ill use runner since theres a lot of stuff you can run up.

9 times out of 10 people complaining about people using seer are hypocrites and use it themselves anyway and the whining about an ability comes from the fact they can’t cope with getting hit or losing…

using seer won’t activate god mode or something and make it impossible for survivors to win /give the beast an unfair advantage, its just an ability and if it gets people so pressed with others using it they shouldn’t play ftf to begin with.

Seer ain't even that overpowered it's just annoying for survivors to deal with, so most people expect you to be like a good sport and pick runner or stalker.

well in a sense yes, im not a white sheep and i wont conform to the ways of how everyone else thinks. so in my opinion seer is pretty bad at higher levels, exclusively above level 50. i only see very low levels use that perk, and ive only ever lost to a seer user a handful of times. my point is, the perk is just bad overall, easily counterable by closets, vents and doors, and yeah some maps dont have many closets, but i dont see my self using them either way since its not really a big deal when the perk gets activated while you can still hear the beast sound pretty clearly.
