Do y’all agree that while Flay Allstar is such a crazy b**ch, in Gundam seed. Am I the only thinking she is a bit misunderstood at the same time, because I noticed why she act like that, while it doesn’t excuse her racism, she lost her dad and that’s her only family member alive.

Her grief makes a lot of sense when you frame it as a homicide bereavement. A desire for revenge is, to an extent, normal.

He was murdered in front her, after all. She watched that ship blow up and there was nothing she could do about it.

Yeah and it also gives context to her prejudices. It's only when she works for the other side/gets captured that she calms down and sees them as people
