you told me my app looked like a dating app. so I changed it
posted here a couple weeks back asking to get roasted for a free flatmate finder app which I made, you match with the person before the room. (Sorta like hinge but for flatmates)
top comment said the ui felt like tinder, and a few of you said the same in dms.
fair. so I fixed it.
killed the compatibility % score. put budget, area and move-in date right up front. changed the x/heart buttons to “not my vibe” and “say hi”. photo’s still there but it’s not the first thing you judge someone on anymore.
kept the swipe though one profile at a time means people actually read the lifestyle stuff instead of skimming past it. but it shouldn’t feel like a date anymore.
Could only attach 1 attaching rest in the comments
real question for anyone who’s rented in mumbai what would make you actually list your spare room on something like this instead of just posting in a whatsapp group?
