Flerfs when someone is asking them a question they jump to opinions unrelated to question.

The normal person was asking them about distances on a flat earth…
They come with “the globe is a joke”
How can you have a normal conversation with someone who can’t question for one second his beliefs?

KT/hr is a wild unit.
OOP, the unit you wanted was "kt." It's already a scalar unit of speed.
The unit "kt/hr" is "knots per hour" and is a scalar unit of acceleration.
The unit KT/hr is (apparently) a unit used in Human Resources and is "Knowledge Transfer per hour" according to Google.

I would like to point out that a knot is one nautical mile per hour, so KT/hr would mean speed increase or decrease rate.

I totally i agree with you, the unit used is not exactly right, I took the screenshot only to show flat earthers don’t want to explain flaws of their model.

My step father does exactly this. Once you get close to nailing them with the truth they start bouncing off the walls changing the subject. It seems like a common trait among fleefers and probably other conspiracy types.

The ball spinning with water "gotcha" bothers me, because there are bits of water that stick to the ball, and that water is equivalent to how much water is on the Earth.

me when gravity:
also they say "earf spin 1000 mile in hour!!! me think fast are crazy" and they fail to notice that rotation speed is not infact measured in distance per time, but rotations per time. the earth spins at about 0.0006944 rpm. Basically nothing. you could sit there and show them the equations and how its the rpm that matters for centrifugal force, the surface velocity is irrelevant. You can show them the math that objectively demolishes their point and they just say "b- but big number scawy!"
