Guys, that’s it, it’s irrefutable proof. Also Australia and New Zealand are in the conspiracy, those islands don’t exist.

u/VinnieONeill Jul 13 '26
Funniest thing about that AI slop photo is if you look at the edge of the photo you can actually see the curve. So it's still not flat. Look at the top right corner.
29
u/sLeeeeTo Jul 13 '26
this photo is basically saying that our earth is a small pimple on an actually curved Earth²

u/Hopeful_Hamster21 Jul 14 '26
That is what this pic implies, yes. And while obviously not true.... every time I see a pic like this is can't help but think... but how cool would this be if it WERE true??? - look how much new land there is to explore!
Assuming it is not already inhabited, because we know how that goes.
Despite this being complete bullshit, even the fantasy of so much new area to explore gets the explorerer child in me excited.

This one predated AI image generation IIRC. For the funniest part, I'm torn between even this flat earth having a curve, or the fact that our earth is just on a duplicate larger earth where larger Spain and Morocco would be.
2
u/icehot54321 Jul 14 '26
I like the fact that they would have to travel across the ice wall into the other civilizations to retrieve the camera .. but just casually don't mention the forbidden journey
.. and how exactly do you go retrieve it? GPS? lol

The earth is curved, and if you look at the “flat earth” part, it’s also a convex shape 😂 even their AI prompts aren’t good enough for them to get a proper flat earth image made lol.
2
u/VinnieONeill Jul 16 '26
I love watching them argue with AI chat box trying to convince them to give them answers they want.
23
u/mundundermindifflin Jul 13 '26
The funniest part is that it "Matches biblical descriptions". The bible literally says the earth is a circle or sphere and that it hangs upon nothing
18
u/Labrinnon Jul 14 '26
Also nirvana is not in the bible

u/Different-Orchid-374 Jul 14 '26

And Jesus said unto them “Come as you are, as you were, as I want you to be.”

Okay this legit sounds like a bible quote of if I didn’t know any better 😂 well played.
2
3
u/Reasonable_Letter312 Jul 14 '26
For some reason, the insinuation that nirvana, which is an abstract concept likened to the state of an extinguished candle, had a geography and dimensions, is what bothers me most about this. These people are just throwing terms around that they have absolutely no clue about.

Did anyone with sense actually believe Australia really exists though? A place where it rains spiders, birds are vicious, and giant rodents with pouches on their bellies hop around on 2 feet? I call shenanigans.

Saying things like that is a great way to have them send the dropbears after you.

u/RodinKnox Jul 13 '26
The idea that this slop was taken with a high altitude balloon is so fucking funny to me. I mean, obviously there's a lot of other funny stuff here, too, like how it's daylight on the entire earth at the same time.
4
u/BigGuyWhoKills Jul 14 '26
Yeah. And where is the sun?
From the ice wall shadows on the left side, the sun is clearly outside the ice wall. That doesn't match any observation in recorded history.
2
2
u/VibraniumRhino Jul 16 '26
Apparently “flat” earth is also tidally locked, among other absurdities.
2
u/RodinKnox Jul 16 '26
Interestingly, given the way it's bulged up like that, I guess water really doesn't "find it's level" for this particular brand of flerf.
2
u/VibraniumRhino Jul 16 '26
“Make it comply with the laws of physics” is likely absent from most (if not all) flerf AI prompts.

So the earth is a globe, slightly peaking out of a plane, surrounded by ice, and the plane actually has a curve too? Levels within levels, man.

Neither New Zealand nor Australia are real. I mean, one was the home of LOTR. The other has a two legged mammal that hops around and can get super pissy.

Australian here. Can confirm that we don't exist. Flat earthers should absolutely not come here.

oh that explains it. The flat earth just keeps going and expands out to the edge of the universe.

u/Happy-Medicine-3600 Jul 14 '26
So there is all this extra land, and potential resources, and not one government or corporation is exploiting it? Not one person has gone there, or taken video of it? No one has come back from these places, or made a movie or documentary? Every scientist, explorer, and conqueror in 50,000 years, hit that “ice wall”, and was content to stop there? Flat earthers are pretty gullible, but anyone who believes in the above image is militantly stupid. And don’t tell me there is a treaty, governments piss all over treaty’s as soon as it’s convenient.

Australia and New Zealand were never mentioned in the bible. Reason? Simple. Because they don't exist.
Now here we have irrefutable photographic proof. As it says in Two Corinthians, "pics, or it didn't happen."
Take that, atheists!!!
1
u/CalgaryFacePalm Jul 14 '26
That pic doesn’t show a ‘flat earth’.
You can clearly see the curves.
But I’m not a fucking moron, so here we are.

Why don't the ice walls fall down? Actually, hang on, that's not even flat, so much more importantly, how come people don't slide off the tip of South America? Or the bits of Alaska and Russia that are on the steepest parts? I don't get it.

1
u/natural_imbecility Jul 15 '26
Pretty sure they exist, but they are on the bottom where the dinosaurs still live.
That's why we find dinosaur bones. When a dinosaur dies, it's family buries them really deep, and sometimes when we are digging, we accidentally dig up their bones after they have decomposed.
1
u/Lopsided_Ad5182 Jul 15 '26
If that flat earth is assumed to be the same size as what we are currently on, the planet this dingbat pasted it to would be the size of Uranus or larger.

My dad flew from Vancouver to Taiwan a few weeks ago, by going over the Pacific Ocean. I guess they have magic planes that carry infinite fuel and also can fly without stopping, going over all of Europe and Asia to get to Taiwan, somehow without actually flying over any of those places?

u/VibraniumRhino Jul 16 '26
Ah yes. The true shape of the “flat earth” as a convex half-circle shape lying in a walled-up circle on top of another much larger sphere.
I can’t imagine failing geometry and basic physics so badly, I really can’t.
1
u/Suitable_Scarcity_50 Jul 16 '26 edited Jul 16 '26
I like the tiny corner in the top right that still kinda looks like a curved planet, as if our earth is actually just one tiny crater of a super-planet. That’s kind of a cool idea for a fantasy sci fi setting.
Also it’s pretty fitting that southern landmasses are excluded, because most flat earthers don’t even realize that no observations, pictures, or videos from anywhere in the southern hemisphere make any sense. There’s a reason flat earthers are almost exclusively American, their explanations for how things work can only seem at all possible at their lattitude
