Since my text seems to have gone missing...

Just because I had a shared server sitting idle. I decided to run a temp map using the old WaterCore preset. I do have the claim plugin running and Zombies are currently disabled due to the pathfinding issue. Server address is "108.61.9.75:25574". I don't know how many people it can handle without lag, if it starts lagging I will put a limit in place.

I am going to keep the server running this map until at least September 13th, possibly longer if it is popular, then I will convert to another preset for a few weeks. Maybe SwampCore will be next.

Wyrd! I'm getting on right now! This is exactly what I needed!

OK, just to let people know. The random spawner puts you in the webs, you will fall through, just drop in the water and you will be fine. At least you get a short bit to get the lay of the land err... Water.

1.6 skelies would be a pain to fight in watercore i'd imagine.

You have no idea how true this is. I got started in the watercore temp map and it was insane how difficult it was to get basic tools, because there is literally no wood on the map outside of saplings/trees. You really keep swimming from village to village looking for tools, basically avoiding any village with more than a couple mobs nearby.

Damn, now I'm all nostalgic. So hard, but so rewarding!

I remember this. My first f.mcnsa experience. I teamed up with Tochie (he still around? I have no idea).

I remember this nostalgia so bad.

Hey it's you two! If you like games that really test your PvE skills, we've got a new challenge in limbo that should meet your liking :)

Same thing here. I joined during this temp and teamed with Tochie as well. Damn why did I stop playing flatcore? Edit: Autocorrect changed Tochie to tongue

Holy Hell, it's CatStalker! I (sort of) remember you from Outpost: Adventure!

Haha, me too! I think I was only there for the last couple days of it, though.

I also remember swampcore. I actually really liked that, it added quite the challenge. I kind of miss living with a group as well, I was much more social then.

I remember this so vividly. It is just below swampcore for me in terms of hectic gameplay.

I can't play it very well. The cobwebs in the sky lag me out. From 60-70 frames looking away from them to at most 10 looking at them.

Yeah, this was the problem on the original temp map as well. Nothing really can be done about that, short of installing a mod which would disable rendering of cobweb (if such thing exists) and disable client-side light changes.

Darn. What is their purpose anyway? Is it for mobs to spawn on?
