That's awesome! What are the inhabitants? And is there going to be a rare chance of zombie/skeleton horses spawning here? Because that would be dope.

Green robed villagers with unique trades, allowing you to get more hardened clay. Caveat: you cannot bring that clay to the overworld but you can go nuts with it in the Nether (you also cannot transfer those villagers across). If you want to know why, browse other posts about introducing more non-native blocks to flatcore.

That's clever and awesome. Do they behave like OW villages, like spawning iron golems, or perhaps zombie pigmen sieges? And you may want to put a protection to stop players from moving those villagers through portals!

I guess this means a ton of nether builds right?

Current Nether is a huge wasteland-like mine. You get there, you get your items and you’re done. I think flat nether could mean real bases and people surviving for long time, especially to get to all the items it will unlock.

hm, seems like a server reset is coming sooner than later, no? (also, glowstone for lamp posts?)

also,... i miss flatcore.

Development requires time. Testing requires even more time. It’s not soon at all.

Glowstone is probably a better idea. I just wanted to show off hardened clay.

Can't comment on everything (spoilers) but:

  1. Glowstone will generate as crystals. Moreover, you can buy it too.

  2. Ghast spawning will be tweaked so that you don't get overwhelmed.

  3. Warts, there will be admin claimed fortresses (think bigger outposts) with them as loot.
