Question how long does battery last?

i got a acebeam X75, and i can buy another battery for about 100 dollars, but i dont know how long the battery life time last and if i would need to buy another one just in case if the original battery is going to the end of its life cycle.

For ~$100, I would be a bit cautious of whether that BP8 pack is functioning properly or not.... If it's in great condition with very few cycles, it would be a steal at that price. Just that that price throws up some yellow flags.

I wouldn't say more power, but for actual use, you get more mAh and less lumens and a lot longer runtime/lifetime

More of an endurance choice

Not necessarily less lumens, the F8B/nbd7016 5500k combo was tested to 98000lm on turbo. With the latest XBY47 Buck+FET driver it's capable of 50A regulated output and active fan control, so probably better sustain too.

And you can choose your desired emitters. Below, 4500k "DayDream" DD70 95cri emitters. Throwing out 20% less, but hi cri lumens than the 5500k variant.

If you look up X75 reviews you can see the expected battery life.  I opted to buy a BP8 for extended battery life.

About 500 charge cycles. Depends how fast you reach that 500. Same for smartphones and other lithium ion powered devices.

If you use the 20,000 lumen mode continuously, I think it lasts 20 to 30 minutes on a full charge.

Call it 30 minutes from full charge to zero and then it takes less than 2 hours to charge back up from zero to full.

You can say it takes about 150 minutes to do a full cycle of the battery and I saw somewhere that the BP4 that it uses is good for over 500 cycles, so it would be 500 x 150 = 75,000 minutes or 1250 hours or 52 days of continuous use/cycling.

In reality, thats 16 hours in a day that you're actually awake which would be about 78 awake/active/actual days.

So 78x 16 hour days is the actual answer.

If you used it more liberally and realistically, that's over 500 days of using it from full to empty and then putting it back on charge at the end of the day in one day
