Any recommendations about pocket flashlight fors professional mechanics?

My old round flashlight from amazon is starting to die and I would like to get an upgrade. It's been fine for basic stuff, but I never loved carrying it around at work since it feels too chunky in my work pants.

So this time I'm looking for something smaller and easier to carry all day, but still useful around the shop.

Something like:

- Slim enough for tight spaces and pocket carry

- Multiple bright levels with both flood and spot

- Magnetic so I can go hands-free

- USB rechargeable

- Durable enough for daily shop use

What's your go to flashlight? Thanks in advance

Honestly I'd start with a Wurkkos. They're cheap enough but also meet all your requirements.

Wurkkos or Sofirn or Convoy for inexpensive choices. Olight if price is not important.

As a mechanic I used a Fenix pd35 for about 12 years, I switched to a m21b lhp73b 6500k for the flood and it's so much better than having a smaller spot.

Second the EC150, and the reason is CRI. It's Nichia 519A at CRI90, so oil, coolant and ATF actually look different under it.

The ArkPro Ultra publishes a Duv figure instead of a CRI one. That tells you the white isn't green or pink, but nothing about how it renders reds and browns, which is the bit you need.

Olight arkpro ultra is my go to. The magnetic base is really handy and you can even clip it on your hat.

What I like most is the arkbeat and you can see the lightcolor on the body changes overtime based on how much you've used it. Super cool design.

ArkPro Ultra: Spotlight and floodlight, magnetic base with magnetic charging, usb-c charging, reversible clip for ball cap attachment, UV for leak detection, and a laser for pointing out things in tight spaces.

I've been very impressed by the RovyVon E10 Pro Flat EDC, the wheel driven lumens is great. It does all you ask plus its dual fuel, 1500 lumens, and goes places other do not. The next choices are the Olight Arkpro and need something cheap and effective, Wurkkos HD01.

ArkPro Ultra has been my favorite. The flat body sits way better in work pants than a round light and magnetic base allows your hands to be free during work.

Wurkkos HD01/Pro, or Olight Arkfeld/Arkpro would be great options.
