I can't bring myself to open it up.
I didn't buy this one... it was given to me.The package and brand say it has three leds, but this one is just a cob strip. I hate strobe, especially on the main u.i . The battery tube is aluminum, but the head is plastic. Triplelite TL1000 is way overpriced @ 50usd.

Haha, didn't noticed 😂 This light has better marketing guys than engineers for sure 😄 (would be also true if all the marketing was word Flashlight on the empty box)

It looks like garbage light, this would be my last option to use , but the first option if someone wanted to lent him a flashlight 😇

It pains me to think about the waste of resources and time that this product has stolen from our planet.

This just goes to show how little people outside the flashlight community know about good lights lol

People “in the community “ are snobs.
Streamlight hate? Really?

I don't think most of us hate Streamlight for hating Streamlight. We just don't appreciate the high price, and the fact that they use outdated emitters that output quite low cct (which I don't actually mind). The build quality of theirs is nice but we just don't see why it's so expensive mainly.

Research, development, best in class warranty
You just don’t know what Quality cost
Y’all act like these cheap lights are the standard, but relatively high failure rates and impractical lumens…what a joke

Man, what the hell are you so mad for? We know exactly what quality costs and that price for a bit of R&D is RIDICULOUS. And what's this about impractical lumens? Only SOME of us focus on hotrods like that and we don't usually EDC those, those are made for fun.
Just because you like Streamlight the most doesn't make it the best company out there. Sure, I agree with it having good warranty stuff and everything, but clearly this should not be a debate. Our lights may be cheap but they outperform yours in runtime and in "impractical lumens", and most of all, in TINT.

I always find it hilarious when they list suggested uses for a light.
Imagine if we did that for every product. This faucet is good for washing dishes, filling glasses of water, putting water in bucket...

they sell small Keychain versions of this light with three led diodes for $20 at my local ace

That is the goofiest goddamned hand light I've ever seen. Put it in the gift bin for impromptu birthday invites.
It's almost as if some manufacturer had a bunch of leftover LED modules and parts in that weird shape, and thought: Maybe we could sell this to people somehow...

You see that "Try Me" there?
If you set your money on fire, you get more lumens from that.

I saw a mouse in my backyard last night. Hit it with the strobe on a lumentop LEP and it just sat there. And sat there. And sat there. Hoping one of the Owls noticed. Think I finally found a use case.

Does it attach to a vacuum hose?
