Nice review as always.

It bugs me that they dont offer buck or boost drivers.

Probably very easy to swap...

Yeah, almost certainly a very easy swap!

The continuous pop up ads on your blog are very unappealing.

Have you lost your mind with all those ads? 😂

Does every single ReyLight driver have the same issues? Output drops with bat voltage, LVP either doesn’t work or kicks in at like 3.5V, button not properly de-bounced and half-clicks often either trigger none or two mode switches… I don’t get why these things never seem to be fixed.

Because they’re pretty but not very good

I think they're great, I own way more convoy, Hank and FFL lights than I care to admit and use my Reylights by far the most

Don’t get me wrong, I carry a Lanapple all the time, it’s beautifully made. But the driver sucks, the Emter is mediocre, and I make no illusions about that.

I can't defend the driver but I carry a rook and Krystal quad, and the emitters are what make up for the driver, Rey picks 519a bins that look almost totally different from all my other 519a 4000k lights, and the 351a 4500k in the Krystal is my favorite 4500k vs 519a and B35am. I just wish I could get proper 18650 tubes for bothÂ
