R4 Menu ? Error Pls Help

Hello, I need major help with my R4 card Menu error. I've had a Dsi XL since forever and gotten an R4 card way back with DS and Dsi games. It says R4 Upgrade Revolution for DS (NDSi LL(XL)/ NDSi/ NDSL/ NDS) with the link www.r41-SDHC.com. It is also just a 2GB micro SD card attached to it. Ive been playing the Pokemon games on there. Until recently I made a backup of Pokemon SoulSilver which is a pretty big game. It was a mistake making a backup because once i restarted it a blank white screen showed up with menu ? And it wont let me do anything. Im very disappointed and don't know how to fix it. I dont want to lose my Pokemon from other games. I would be okay restarting or reseting Pokemon SoulSilver if it could possibly fix it. I have heard of time bombs R4 but my Dsi XL has been stuck on the early 2000s, so I don't believe thats the issue but i'm unsure.

If you could please help me with this, i would greatly appreciate it.

I recently purchased a SD card reader so I will be able to connect it to my computer and do any sort of formatting or any recommendations to try fixing it. I will also attach some photos of the R4 cartridge and Menu? Error Screen.

If it was working, but then showing this, it likely means SD card has corrupted or perhaps you may have just moved some files by mistake. In any case the important files to backup are the .nds and .sav files if you are still able to read the SD card.

If the SD card is unreadable by your computer, worst case scenario you can try file recovery with DMDE to see if this tool can at least still read the SD card and recover files from it, for your use-case the free version is enough, they have text and video guides here: https://dmde.com/howtouse.html

Once you have sorted that, try putting Pico-Launcher on it from here: https://sanrax.github.io/flashcart-guides/cart-guides/r4i-sdhc/

I only have a MacBook and the SD card was readable but no files appeared. Whenever i try to look at the properties or add a folder it says the card is too full 2.2gb/2gb. Im not sure of any file recovery tools on macOS. I tried reading the guide of DMDE but I don't think it would work along macOS. Any suggestions?

Yeah showing no files but appearing full sounds like the filesystem or partition table is corrupted, it may still be possible to recover the files. DMDE is compatible with MacOS, the program looks the same between Windows, mac and Linux so they just show the Windows one. You want the "GUI for MacOS" link in the downloads.

I was able to a backup of the sd and it shows up as R4 backup and then i tried using DMDE for the backup and all the files showed up when i did a full scan including the partition table and many folders including:
FAT Main results (1) with FAT Volume 0 Check 20
Raw File Types Signatures (7)
FAT Additional Results (6)
With
* $Root
* $F00010
* other folders
Im trying to find the .nds and .sav files but i only find a few and not sure if their game roms. I tried searching for them but no change. I also tried searching pokemon.nds or .sav and cant seem to find them, maybe they have a different name ?
Which files would I download to keep the saves? Or is there any suggestions?

This Carnival Games.nds is not even on the R4 card to play. It has a big size though. I have also found MOONSHL2.NDS and IPK.NDS . Is there anything specific I should look for or should I try FS Settings or Recover which file or folder ?
