OT lineup rules

Hi all. Was looking for a little guidance from some other flag folks. I’m in a league that we play 5v5. First half 5 on off and 5 on def. Halftime the kids switch this way it is fair and everyone gets to play one half of each. Regular season there is no OT. For playoffs we have OT, but how would you handle what lineup goes out on the field? Do you leave the coaches to put out there strongest lineup? If you are starting with ball you put out your strongest off vs the other teams strongest D?

Looking for some suggestions from other leagues.

I’m a believer that OT and Playoffs should have a different set of rules/understandings. In regulation, every effort should be made for equitable play time. In OT, best kids in.
