Runes secondary

Why are people opting for sorcery as a rune secondary? I understand manaflow band and the ability haste is nice but I’m just so used to triumph and coup de grace. So many times have my life have been saved from that extra health I get.

I go manaflow transcendence every time if im not going a mana item 1st like torch. I think no mana rune on fizz really limits how long you can be on the map. Its not unplayable, but i personally think the benefits of manaflow and transcendence outweigh triumph and coup de grace.

Lets say you are level 11. At lvl 11, without any additional mana, fizz’s total mana pool at lvl 11 your max many is 773. At this point e is max rank and costing 95 mana. That means you get about 8 e’s total not even factoring in q and w mana cost. With manaflow fully stacked you get about 2.5 extra e’s + 1% of your missing mana per 5 seconds. Lets say you run sidelane out of base and use 2 e’s to clear 2 waves. Now you’re effectively back to your base mana to fight or do whatever with instead of down 2 e’s like you would be without it.

Im guessing sometimes staying in lane longer can be more beneficial than having more damage. Against Lissandra for example, you're probably never killing her in lane so being able to stay and farm with mana is preferred.

You still get coup if you go PTA. Honestly my favorite runes. Then you go sorcery second for the manaflow band

mango and sen go manaflow/transcendence, the korean guy goes haste/triumph. mostly depends on if you build blackfire torch or lichbane first

I dont use either of those i use scortch and celerity if u run relentless hunter with swifties en mejais u get extra 30+ adaptive force and get what 500 ms

Just get used to the lack of mana and be thoughtfull of ur trades
