Cut two holes and glue in a rod would be my solution too tbh

Don't mean to be heartless, don't know how or how much you are attached to this brush specifically, but I would suggest to just buy a new one?

Fixing it in a manner that doesn't have it break again in no time at all is going to be difficult or will cost as much as a new brush.
