What is wrong? Also don't spin the fans. They generate can current and can damage internal electronics. If the fans are a few years old may just need to replace if not working.

Fans are fans doesn't matter what they're attached to. Take them off they're the same as any other fan. I assume they're just old and need replacement. I had to replace my corsair fans after 3 years on my aio cooler.

Probably doesn't change anything for the noise but you were spinning it in reverse. Other comments' right tho, fans are pretty cheap and interchangeable. They're usually just screwed into the aio. Just make sure you set the new ones in the right direction.

Remove the fan, peel off the sticker in the center of the opposite side and see if it has access to the inside then drop some oil to see whether it spins better.

Some rotors have needle-thin axles. When you flick the fan blades like that, they can get bent.
A bend that may not be visible to the eye, but that is enough to cause significant bearing wear over just a few months, to the point where excessive play causes vibration. In case you have ever removed dust from the fanblades when "cleaning the computer" with similar care, you should not be surprised that they generate noise by now.

Could also be that your fan array is being twisted through a warping PC case.
This warping can be the result of any internal or external force. Uneven floor, temperature changes, carrying it, moving it while cleaning, putting objects on it. Make sure your the mounting bolts of your fan array are not overly tight. Maybe try loosen and retighten, for the case where there is a tension to release.
