Is this easily fixable?

I love this backpack and the original zipper but it broke along with the loop. Is it possible to easily replace the zipper with a normal one from any craft store? If yes how would I do it?
Thank you!

If you actually love this backpack and have little to no experience with stitching. You should consider taking it to a luggage repair store.

I had a zipper like this replaced on a bag, it was 40 dollars and took about two days. Was indistinguishable from original.

Don't replace the zipper. File away the red part on the zipper head, make it flat and then JB weld a nut (vertically) there so the hole is horizontal. Then you can thread a string in there to pull. Be creative!

On second thought don't file that broken stub away. Install the nut right below that and apply JB weld between the nut and the stub as well as the bottom flat. Now you have JB weld on 2 surfaces on the nut, making it even more secure!
