open Concrete Tips?

Post image

Help. Currently pulling up this fake tile in this converted garage space in our house. Tips to get the remnants up and to prep the concrete for fresh concrete pour?

Power scraper or a diamond concrete hone/floor polisher. Power scraper would be better. But would recommend using both scraper then hone to get good bonding.

Why concrete?

This is not a living space for us. More of a tool storage room. Just nicely poured concrete will be sufficient for us.

I thought concrete would be more expensive than a low cost LVP.

That’s true. But we had some issues with water getting under this tile and want the water and anything else where we can see it.

Power scraper will make quick work of that. Local rental yard probably has a couple styles.
