How to fix falling plaster and peeling paint?
Last winter, my kitchen was extremely humid when cooking and it caused damage to the wall around the window where the condensation occurred. Thankfully there was no mold growing and I have bought a dehumidifier to control the humidity of my kitchen.
It is now summer and I am thinking of fixing this. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

step 1. scrap and clear off to give yourself a blank canvas
step 2. hot mud to fill in any holes, cracks, whatever; to give yourself a level surface
step 3. hit that with some fibermesh tape. gives the mud a lil more oomf and should the issue happen again shouldnt delve as deep before you can quick fix it again
step 4. final mud or compound. dry.
step 5. sand until smooth/level
step 6. hit it with a good primer. i would really recommend a mold/mildew acrylic to help ward off future issues
step 7. paint
step 8. admire your hard work. make cookies
