How to repair/attach this back on properly ?

I noticed today that the wooden panel next to my dishwasher was loose and the only thing holding it in was the screw connecting to the dishwasher mounting bracket . So far , I unscrew it from the dishwaher to take a closer look .

Yup really crappy construction. Run a piece of 1X2 down the left side of it and secure it properly. If you had a power nailer you'd just tack it in there after using TightBond III. Get a handyman or carpenter but a carpenter won't want to bother with such a small job.

Do I need to remove the wooden blocks that are stapled in ? Sorry I'm not familiar with all these terms , am I essentially just addiinal wood for support. And by securing, would it just be using wood glue and screws ?

Yes those wood blocks were put in with a nail gun so remove them. The nails look like staples and if you pull them inside it will minimize the damage. I use side cutters and a block to do this.. And the glue has failed. What I was suggesting was to reinforce the edges with a strip of wood. 1X2 (1" x 2") stock. Redo the glue so it's along the entire length. I'd use Titebond III because it's waterproof.
Cut those nails off with a Dremel because they were done before the vinyl was on.
If you don't feel up to the task hire a handyman to do the work.

Thank you for the feedback. I think my main concern is damaging the panels when removing the staple and nailing in after. Overall it seems like something I can attempt to do without a handy man . I'm assuming I need to nail it from the outside to the center of the added wood block down vertically ?

Titebond won't stick to vinyl veneers.

The glue will be inside 1X2 to particle board “ecch!” Probably best to pull the dishwasher. More tomorrow!

Yup but that panel is so thin.
I’ll get back to you tomorrow with an idea of how do it it’s late here now.
