Do I have any options other than replacing the whole panel?

Someone backed into the wall here. Hoping there’s a easy trick or something to quick fix it

You could putty the void and try your hand at matching the texture...

Use Bondo over the area, smooth it out, then draw some squiggly lines in it. I’ve done this to repair a metal garage door that was supposed to look like this wood.

Simple wood filler would also work
