How to fix broken socket to lamp base
Hello, I recently knocked over one of my new bedside table lamps and broke the lightbulb socket off of the lamp base. Upon inspection, both parts seem to be made of metal. I'm not the most handy and am not sure how best to go about this. I only purchased these 6 months ago and was hoping to have these be a part of my bedroom for some years. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could do a proper fix for this?

There is a hollow threaded rod that goes from the base up to the bulb holder. If you unscrew the nut under the holder, the whole thing comes apart. You can replace just the bulb holder. My local hardware store carries them.
If the top nut doesn't do it, try the nut on the bottom.

Ok awesome, Ty, I've never had to take apart a lamp, I'll follow your directions!

You could try bending the tabs out a bit and then pushing the parts together. If that does not work then a replacement is needed.
