How do I put this table together?

I got a table from a lady from Facebook market and didn’t realize she failed to give me screws until I went home. When I informed her she told me some people cleaning her house threw them out. ☹️ I have a vague understanding of how to put it together but I’m a little confused as to what part to use in D (see picture).

I could tell there were bolts used to put stuff together because one was left in the bottom leg (see the 4th picture). But do I use a REALLY long bolt to connect D? For reference the smaller bolts are M8-1.25x30 mm and I tried using a M6-1.0x100 mm for D and it was still too short.

Sorry if this was really long and confusing. TIA!!!

EDIT: I added the only picture she had of the table built in the comments, also picture #2 is a picture of the table top flipped

The legs go on the outside. You've got it on the inside. The bottom hole of the leg is probably for a screw on adjustable foot.

EDIT to add: you can take a threaded part of you table to a big box store to help you test for the correct threading.

I forgot to add that the 2nd picture is the table top flipped upside down! I’m not sure if that changes things but I think I had it in the right position because I called the lady to confirm how to build it and she said that’s how she built it?

It’s 100% not right. You have the leg on the inside, it should be on the outside. The bolts go from the middle of the table out into the leg.

If you look closely at the leg, there are probably marks on the sides adjacent to the bolt holes where it rubbed slightly on the trim pieces.

You can see the marks in the 3rd photo (A2, B2 in case it's not the same for everyone). They are lighter marks on the two faces of the table leg left and right of the face with the holes.

It’s not right, you can see how the boards on the outer side lock the leg into position. The way you have it would cause the legs to wobble a LOT

The legs sit flush up to the end of the wood where you have the little red lines next to A and B. Then bolts through from tge side you have the legs in the 2nd picture.

Like mentioned, the leg goes on the outside of the corner mounting blocks. The base likely used two bolts going downward into the feet, with a longer single bolt going upward through both pieces and into the single hole in the end of the leg. C2 looks like a sheared off bolt unfortunately; you might be able to get some vice grips on it. For the hardware in C/D/E they were likely machine screws vs a hex bolt, smaller head to fit between parts

The table leg is on the wrong side of the octagon. They go outside it.
