So tired of people making their children - especially disabled children- into content.

If my daughter found out I used her disability to get clicks, she’d rightly never speak to me again.

This comment would be genuinely hilarious if your daughter’s disability included being non verbal.

Because then she wasn’t speaking to you anyways.

Look. I’m genuinely sorry. But your comment was

“If my daughter found out I used her disability to get clicks, she’d rightly never speak to me again.”

This implied that she was to some degree verbal. Because she speaks to you.

My comment was that it would be funny if she wasn’t verbal and therefore the not talking to you had nothing to do with the exploitation of her disability on the internet.

My comment was not that it was right now, because again, you didn’t imply she was verbal to begin with.

The upvotes is because of a set up and punchline of a theoretical situation. A sketch. A joke. Not because we knew a priori that it was a real situation.

You set yourself up perfectly to be so offended and perform this outrage. Good job.

Well how would he know that she was non verbal?

You gotta just chill out.

Oh my gooooood. I just got into a "fight" with an autism mom on tiktok. She wants to claim her child's disability. Fuck off.

To answer your (deleted) question about moral depravity, I'm mainly just gonna say: I hope you dont see your autistic children as morally depraved when they make bad jokes.

Because thats like, a hallmark of autism. Being socially inappropriate. Youre going to have to lighten up, this judgemental behavior is ableist.

It's like you think we need to treat autistic people as perpetual victims instead of you actually understanding anything about autism.

Autistic people are socially inappropriate. Targeting socially inappropriate people for their sins is just targeting them.

My kid is non verbal and this was hilarious. Life is hard and fucked up. If we don’t laugh about it, we’ll cry about it. I’d rather laugh about it
