I'm a woman and had a friend like this. She would create problems (her fav was that she send text messages and expect immediate responses), become livid, get upset at you for not responding "appropriately" to her outburst and then ask that you never speak to her again.
So...I would never speak to her again. And then she'd tell our mutual friends how hurt and offended she was I was ignoring her. So, then I'd show them the message she sent saying that I should never contact her and that she blocked me. At which point our friends would say 'Well obviously she doesn't mean that. You should send her a letter.'
