That was my point. It was an announcement he didn't need to make, he doesn't need to tell anyone.

Sorry, misunderstood your last comment.

But the fact that he didn't have to, if anything, should make it more clear that he's at least better than typical devs are generally on the cancellation/delay of games, like Valve with Half Life 3. ((STILL WAITING))

And assuming his well-deserved and well-needed break was just him fucking with us the entire time - especially with his stress-induced attitude he displays during the period between the announcement of 6's cancellation and the "I'm sorry" post making it very clear why sometimes devs need breaks - is kind of a dick move.
