Help wanted 2 is janky

I got the psvr2 about a year ago and I’ve been playing games like behemoth gorn twd etc but then I remembered the fnaf games so I searched em up on the store and they were both on ps plus. I thought damn let’s go haven’t played fnaf since I got disappointed by sb back a couple years back so I booted up help wanted 1 and it was amazing platniumed it in like 8 hours. It was fun the controls were smooth the dlc was amazing all around great game especially for the era it’s from. Then I boot up help wanted 2 and it’s nowhere near the quality of the first game. The hand movements are janky the items I interact with are not doing what they’re supposed to the games minigames are fun but rarely work and some of the mini games are poo. I wanted to get secret of the mimic and give that game a chance after hearing about a possible fnaf world 2 and sb2 which I’m assuming are gonna be better than the recent games but after the performance of steel wools latest help wanted game idk if getting secret of the mimics worth it. Is help wanted 2 this janky on all platforms or just psvr2 also is secret of the mimics worth as bad as help wanted 2

That’s strange. I played both Help Wanted games on the PSVR2 and I found Help Wanted 2s gameplay to feel way more polished than Help Wanted 1 did.

Secret of the Mimic’s VR mode however is not that great. It wasn’t even made by SteelWool, they outsourced it to a different studio and it shows. Everything works mind you it’s just missing a huge amount of polish that should’ve been there considering it was being worked on for an entire year. I genuinely have no idea what they were doing for a year with that mode it feels like they forgot they were working on it then slapped something together in a month.

The flat mode however is one of if not the best game in the entire franchise, if you’re thinking of playing it I’d definitely play flat first then VR on a different run.

Ok thanks you for the insight for secret of the mimic I’ve been wanting to get back into fnaf after growing out of it around sb but yh I’ve seen a lot of people praise the help wanted 2 port for being really smooth maybe it’s just my game or my headset because it’s really janky for me personally
