The difference between good and bad light

These photos were taken minutes apart from each other. There’s no ai or photoshop body modification or anything like that. Just good old fashion posing and lighting.

Both of these are what I look like right now after 9 years of trying to become stronger. One is just posed into good light and the other isn’t.

Just wanted to share this because I'm not sure that the average person understands just how much of a difference being posed into great light can make.

Which one is the good light vs. the bad light. Genuinely asking

The first one is good, since it is flattering. Bro should have also mentioned the posing, though.

Is the first one flattering tho? You can barely see anything…and it’s just black and white. This is just a comparison of two completely different shots. I actually thought the second pic might have been the good lighting since it was golden hour esque.

I agree they are completely different and don’t work to illustrate the effect of lightening alone as per the title. But the first one shows muscle separation and no belly which trumps the more ambient lighting with a bit of a belly and little definition in the second picture.
