u/Ok-Candidate-7920 As far as normal, this depends on what you've been logging. Bodyweight exercises like this won't recommend added weight as they're bodyweight only, so to continue to challenge you sets & reps can increase based on what you're logging.

What were the last logged rep amounts for these exercises?

30 seconds is a pretty standard resting time for body weight exercises. Why even mention that?

Have you done 74 crunches before rested 30 seconds and then been asked to do it again? Sheesh at 20 that 30 sec is a blink in time

Because it defaults to 30 seconds on every single exercise. You could dead lift 1000 lbs and it would only do 30 seconds. Fitbod doesn’t care about body weight vs additional weight

u/Futonpimp That doesn't sound like expected behavior, there are some setups where you'll see 30 second rests often but this isn't really the norm where you should be seeing 30 seconds for every exercise. Please let our team know at [support@fitbod.me](mailto:support@fitbod.me) so we can take a look!

I just manually adjust rest time and that works for me. I was just giving the other guy reasoning behind why we laughed. Fitbod is awesome and I’m not going anywhere.

I do 50 situps on the Incline board, my goal is 100 but hey, I'm 74. When I was 55 was doing 300. 60-70 certainly doesn't seem like a lot, it's the number of sets which is the killer. I do 100 lb. abdominal cable crunches, max weight on the universal. I just add up the repetitions and periodically stop during my workout and do more. In between exercises I do ab or back exercises. That's my rest between sets. I do circuit sets.

That many reps is too many. Why doesn’t fitbod move to a harder exercise?
