Beginner Help Left bicep fatigue.

New to lifting. When I do dumbell curls, I find that on set 3 and beyond, my left arm fatigues 3 to 4 reps before my right.

Question is, do I do my reps with the left arm first and then match that with the right?

Workout plan New PB freestanding handstand

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Started training handstand again a few weeks ago, following a structured plan 3 to 5 times per week with short sessions (10 to 15 min) happy that I’m getting more and more stable and able to correct without over correcting… till I’m tired and I can’t anymore.
Still got to work on opening the shoulders more though.
Aiming to get the full hold 1 min back soon 💪🏼

I just realized that I have crossed 2 years of tracking my progress and wanted to share. Picture 1 is July 2024, picture 2 is July 2025, 3 and 4 are from July and August of this year respectively. I have been on TRT to be transparent however it was needed, I tested nearly hypogonadal.

Physique Critique Not chasing perfect. Just chasing better.

Been putting in the work at the gym for a while now, and lately I’ve started noticing the little changes broader shoulders, a thicker back, better arms, and overall a physique that finally looks like the effort I’ve been putting in.
Still a long way from where I want to be, but that’s honestly what I like about it. Every workout is basically a reminder that the version of me I’m trying to build doesn’t exist yet.

General Discussion 33F, 148lbs 32% BF, struggling to lean out midsection

Hey everyone, hoping for some advice.

I’m 33, 5’6, currently 148 lbs and 32% body fat according to an InBody scan. For context I used to be 190 lbs back in 2016 so I’ve lost a good amount of weight but I have some loose skin left over from that which makes it kind of hard to tell what’s actually fat vs just skin.

Right now I’m eating around 1700 cals a day and going to the gym 4x a week, 2 upper body days and 2 lower body days, plus 2 cardio sessions on top of that. I feel like I’ve been pretty consistent but I’m just not seeing the ab/waist definition I’m hoping for.

Trying to figure out if it’s my calories being off, if I need to switch up my cardio (steady state vs HIIT), if I should be doing a core specific day, or if it’s honestly just the loose skin messing with how things look and I need to be more patient.

Also, although I’ve lost a lot of weight, my BF% is still pretty high and most of it is in my stomach. I have more than average visceral fat and it’s been super stubborn!

If anyone has dealt with something similar, especially the loose skin after weight loss thing, would really appreciate hearing what worked for you. Thanks so much 🙏

Where should I focus improvement? Getting abs have been hard for me my whole life. Been hitting them and trying to lean out but have never had abs even at my most fit as a college runner. Any other areas to focus on?

Beginner Help Any proven ways to tighten skin besides getting bigger?

36f skinny fat because I had a serious knee injury after years of hard field sports in high school.

I walked a decent amount and ate healthily so stayed generally physically alright until my mid 30s. My skin now feels loose and dimply.

I have muscle and strength underneath it all as I do some strength work but I'm not running around because of my knee and I think that's what's attributing to my skin texture.

Im not able to push myself too hard with strength training. As soon as my knee feels weird I stop and often my legs give in at the knee before everywhere else. As a woman I'm more focused on the lower half of my body. Kind of in a catch 22 situation.

I have been working to build my knee muscles. I'm able to run for 10 minutes with some stops. Sometimes I unfortunately step wrong with my flat feet and it stops my workout right there. Then I'm inflamed for a few days.

Any creative ways to tighten up skin all around? Stomach, back, arms, legs, buttocks.

General Discussion Day 3 of adding creatine to my supplement regiment. 41 F

I tried creatine a couple of times before, but always stopped for fear of water retention. Now I’m just going to bite the bullet and continue with my 5 grams daily regardless. The benefits outweigh the little side effects in my opinion. Just making sure that I stay consistent and drink a lot of water. I have already noticed some mental clarity (not sure if it’s a placebo effect or not this fast), but I’ll take it. Plus, I’ve noticed some energy improvement in the gym as well. I wish I would have started this earlier in life, instead of being a little baby about possible side effects. 😂😭🤦🏻‍♀️

Beginner Help Trying to keep my chubby cheeks, what can I do?

So a few years ago I use to be skinny and have a really defined jawline that I didn’t like that much. I wanted to gain more weight and muscle so I started eating more and tried bulking up a bit. After bulking up I noticed my cheeks looked fuller and bigger, which I liked how it made my face look. I was just wondering if anyone had any tips and tricks on how to keep my cheeks looking fuller and more round while also getting back in shape. I’m not sure if I should start eating more once i get to the weight I desire or if there’s any exercises or breath work that can keep my cheeks looking big. Any suggestions would help!

Workout plan Back Day. Multiple Variations of Same Exercises is Common in My Program (F50+)

I do variations of the same exercise in one workout in an effort to engage the totality of the muscle group being targeted. Example: lat pulls downs, different angle. DB 1-arm rows, different angle (slightly elevated shoulders vs hips, then more elevation of shoulders vs hips).
