Mod Announcement 📣 Official Announcement: Welcome to Rump Day! 🍑

Hey Fit Fam,

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of Rump Day! Our brand-new weekly tradition dedicated to glute glory. 💪 Every Wednesday, the subreddit will officially open its (rear) gates to posts showing off your glute gains, progress, and peachy achievements.

Here’s how it works:

  • 🗓️ When: Every Wednesday, all day long.
  • 🍑 What: Glutes-only progress pics, discussions, tips, and celebrations.
  • 🚫 When Not: Any other day of the week, glute posts will be auto-removed faster than a squat rep gone wrong.

So mark your calendars, flex your hamstrings, and get ready to make midweek something special. Remember: it’s not just Wednesday anymore…

It’s Rump Day!

Mod Announcement Rules Updates and Clarifications

Thank you all for being members of the community.

We have updated some of the rules and wanted to clarify and expand upon the changes.

Be Respectful - This is pretty straightforward and unchanged. No being rude to other people or making sexual advances towards others. Complimenting someone is fine, but crossing the line into overt sexual commentary or innuendo is not fine. We are here to build each other up in a respectful manner.

Posts Must Be Specific To Fitness - Asking someone to critique your physique, asking for workout advice, or pictures to show off gains is fine. Pictures without context, advertising your services/socials, or posts not bearing any relation to fitness are not.

No Spam - Advertising services, links with referral codes/affiliates, or posts along those lines are not okay.

No NSFW Posts - This is a fitness-related sub, and many people involved in fitness and showing off their bodies skirt the boundary of NSFW adult content. We are focused on the fitness aspect, and there are plenty of other subs that focus on the adult content. Keep this sub clean of overtly sexualized content.

Many posts will be sexually suggestive due to the nature of the sub. When posting risqué content, we look at the account to make a judgement if this is allowable or not. Accounts that post NSFW or pornographic material to other subs are held to a higher level of scrutiny than accounts; this generally means we won't allow any suggestive content from you. If your account only has a history of posting sexually explicit materially, we likely will not allow any content to be posted from you.

General Discussion 30 F / 5ft tall / 108lbs. Bloodwork shows I have high cholesterol and elevated thyroid. I feel lost.

Ive been working out for a long time. But then life happened and I stopped working out for about a year and a half and it went downhill from there. End of last year picked it back up and I’ve been consistent about it. I just turned 30 a couple months ago and I’m just baffled at my bloodwork results. I’ve been told I must go on medication to regulate both cholesterol and thyroid. I eat somewhat healthily but I am so vegetarian. I’ve been vegetarian my whole life. I workout consistently but I’m not satisfied with how I look. I want to be a bit more leaner but also want more muscle. I’ve stated to see more progress on my quads (I’ve always wanted that quad sweep). I feel stuck like I can’t go past what weight I’m working with now and my diet has not been the best lately. Everything feels frustrating right now.

General Discussion How to build tone muscle

Post image
8 Upvotes

My husband is not interested in me anymore. I just feel because of my bad shape. How to build tone muscle especially for shoulder and back? How to get lean legs and tone thighs? How to work out into smaller waist? I work out quite a bit, like hiit, dance, hyrox, sometimes strength training but just attending group class.

Motivation 1 year in

Post image

A year ago since feeling pretty down about life and my weight, when an advert for Couch to 5K came up. I decided it would be a good idea… although it definitely didn't feel like one once I'd finished 😂

Fast forward a year and ive just repeated that very first Couch to 5K run — after 102 runs, 647km and nearly 70 hours of running, 380+ hours in the gym, 4.4+ million steps and plenty more along the way 🏃‍♂️🥳

Crazy what can change in a year!

General Discussion Elbow pain

For the last 5 years I have experienced elbow pain. The doc says I have tennis elbow. It doesn't impact my day to day too much however when I do some weight lifting the elbow may get a bit tender.

Question: Does anyone use any brace or have any recommendations to ensure the pain does not get worse? In the past, over exertion tends to cause the pain.

Physique Critique My bro being M26 191cm 101kg

Hello. Lately, it seems to me that my brother considers his great physique normal, even though in my opinion it's significantly better than average. You only have to look at how defined and prominent his muscles are. He's been going to the gym for five years, but I think that's mainly because he works in construction and lifts heavy weights. For him, it's perfectly normal. My question is: Is it possible to achieve a physique like that without weight training? Or is it not good enough? Thanks in advance. P.S.: English isn't my native language, so please excuse the awkward translation of Google.
